traveling table Vertical Machining Centers feature a unique two speed
range spindle combined with contour control and program path accuracy that
ensures remarkably productive roughing and finishing on the same machine. Our
powercurve design ensures high horsepower at low and high RPM for outstanding
superfinish capabilities on complicated molds and dies.
The VMC 600 features
- Two spindles to choose from:
24 HP at 250 RPM with 48 HP above 500 RPM
15 HP at 250 RPM with 30 HP above 500 RPM
- Two speed ranges for each spindle: 0-1500 RPM and 0-12,000 RPM
- CAT 50V flange or HSK spindle tapers
- High Precision Contour Control package HPCC
- 64 bit RISC Processor with NURBS interpolation
- 0.0002" (0.005mm) Path accuracy @200 plus IPM contouring rates
