There are two national standards for calibrating laboratories: the ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, Calibration Laboratories and Measuring and Test Equipment General Requirements and the ISO/IEC 17025:1999 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories
The ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 has been an American National Standard since 1994.
All standards of MIL-STD 45662A are met by ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994
